DAFNE VIJANDE

Las Gordillas is one of those projects that stays with you. A grand estate in Marbella where every room tells its own story, where inherited pieces coexist with contemporary design, and where life itself — with its horses, its courtyards, its sunsets — becomes part of the décor.

I wanted the interior to converse with the outdoors: the porch arches frame the bougainvillea, the gallery opens to panoramic views of the mountains, and the inner courtyards bring the garden's light and calm into the heart of the home.

Here the mix of styles finds its fullest expression: gilded mirrors alongside contemporary sculpture, stone fireplaces with artisan lamps, formal dining rooms that coexist with informal breakfast nooks. It is a home that is truly lived in, a home with soul.

The imperfect moves us. An inherited piece, a flea market lamp, an antique mirror — they bring personality to any space.
