Bonita del Norte is a three-hundred-year-old house in Lamadrid that we restored for Wishome. Three centuries of Cantabrian life in every beam and stone, with interiors that radiate warmth and natural light.

Here I wanted to play with contrast: keeping all the centuries-old character of the wood and stone, and dressing it with linen in beige tones, raffia lamps, and natural rugs. Hand-painted murals add that touch of soul that sets a decorated space apart from a lived-in home.
The kitchen, with its mint-green tones, esparto benches, and reclaimed beams, is for me the heart of the house. A place to gather, cook, and let the hours pass without hurry.
“Three centuries of history in every beam and stone. My work was to dress it with warmth without stealing its soul.”
